Elements of 4D_ Corbin Trosper

 The article is meant to describe time’s influence in artwork and other medias. Time itself is perceived in art as many different things and even has its own categories. Time is unique in artwork, in the sense that it is its own special type of art. There isn’t anything like it, and the way it can be used and created includes all forms of media to get its point across. It is truly unique and special and using it in artwork is and extremely interpretive and personal way of portraying one’s thoughts into a media.

I really enjoy this piece. It’s a restaurant in Lakeview called, Alla Vita. It’s a work in progress as they consistently add new pieces to the surroundings. It not only shows measured time but it also shows experienced time, people who sit in the restaurant to enjoy their coffee and tea sit in awe at the beautiful and confusing 2d look. What would’ve felt like a short stop at a coffee place quickly becomes an hour, and then 2 hours and before you know it your coffee is cold before your even got done thinking about the amount of effort put into the details. This piece is truly awesome.

Movement 

This piece very blatantly shows successional movement. There’s a set of horseback riders all moving forward with an abstract view of the back. It shows a very heavy shift forward of movement towards the back of the painting, It does a very good job of showing movement while remaining still.

I really like this piece because of the color thrown in many places and how it remains abstract while also telling a story. It’s a fun and very exhilarating painting and I feel like it does very well in getting across what it means to show
