Project 1_Marah Westcott
This storyboard started as a focus on Franklin, a stuffed animal I have. However, as time went on, I changed my story and what angles I am using. Now, it will be about two origami frogs falling in love. They go on dates, watch the sunset, and even get married and have kids. then, while they are walking around, Franklin comes out of nowhere and steps on one. Dramatically, it pans up to him to show a low-angle shot of him, before turning his head to look down at the remaining couple.
Today, I worked on what effects I will be using on my video. My computer was having issues with uploading my video files, so I focussed instead on what video techniques and style I would be using for my final project. We spend the last two classes playing around with Premiere Pro to prepare us for working with it. As it is new software to me, it is nice to explore the possibilities before applying them to my project. It was very informative on the methods of editing, both with the video and audio. Now that I know what I'm doing, it will be easier to use the software. I have changed the order of my shots mentally, allowing for a more cohesive story to be told.
Today, I worked on putting all the clips in as well as working on the timing to make it in line with the music. The music is Married Life from Up, since it fits really well with the message I am trying to convey. I am timing the clips to the music to make the transitions smoother and to have a more cohesive message. I have quite a bit done, I just need to refilm/film some ending clips to make a more cohesive story.
