Project 1_Corbin Trosper

For this project story board it shows the base idea for the first project we are going to work on. I am going for a ominous, maybe mysterious angles of a door. There is going to be uneasiness, and creepy music to help with the buildup as to what is behind the door.

At this point I am inserting the files and correcting the color and speed to add to the creepiness and mystery feel that I am trying to go for.

 (Update) I had a change of idea, instead of doing the door, I will make a sort of chase scene. There's going to be different sets of videos that flash back and forth showing one person's view, and then the view of the chaser. It'll end with the person walking on the elevator, and when they turn around, the doors are going to close and at the last second a hand will appear, reaching out to the person, where the doors will then close, before the hand can reach them.

I'm thinking it might be more than one person chasing, and might be something like a zombie chase

week 3, I have uploaded most of my footage but I have a new idea, instead of having the zombies or creatures she is running from, I'll have it unknown and the only thing shown is her running frantically through the building, I'll have a shot of her running past an elevator, catching herself on the door, then pressing the button repeatedly, and then it'll cut to her peering around the corner with an over the shoulder view, then a view of the elevator opening from inside, and then shell run in. and after that the doors will close, while she's rushing to click the buttons. after that I am unsure

UPDATE 2- I FIGURED IT OUT, I have a paper mashay however you spell it mask I made a few years ago and I could do a final shot of her in the elevator with a black background and use opacity to show the mask peering out from behind her, with the video cutting out directly afterward.

Week 4, The finished product has been uploaded to YouTube. I changed quite a bit of the clips and the idea behind it, and I added a little animation behind her head at the end as well, It turned out really smooth and I am very happy with the final outcome! The title is “What’s so scary about the dark? -Horror Short- Corbin Trosper”
